Reward success in employees with specific examples. There should be 3 compliments at least to every one criticism.

I'm interested in the idea of recognizing consistent behavior. I hadn't considered doing that - it seems like rewarding staff for doing their job. Yet, it's another way to acknowledge that staff is doing what they're supposed to. I certainly have enough staff that don't - it would be good to recognize those who do.
